Dustlight is a mobile fine dust measuring device designed to safeguard workers from dust exposure in industrial and craft workplaces. It enables continuous monitoring of the dust concentration in the air and provides direct feedback on dust exposure thanks to its colour signals (green, yellow, red). The Dustlight is set on silica dust as default but can be used in many other industries (metalworking & welding, wood working, manufacturing and more).
The Dustlight is a tool for implementing the S-T-O-P principle (see below) to reduce dust in the workplace, which helps both to monitor dust exposure, and to indicate when and what action is required to ensure the health and safety of employees. By understanding and applying the Dustlight, companies can be proactive and create a safe working environment without having to stop work.
There are several accessories available and also both a web desktop app and smart phone apps to monitor dust pollution with Dustlight in real time and for in-depth data with different software solutions, see below.
